A friend and I are trying to find a host that could change the domain of my forum and accept cnames, but since she%26#039;s paying, her parents say it has to be cheap. Any reccomendations?

Any respectable hosting company allows you to alter domain names. I don%26#039;t know what you mean by cnames though, never heard of that reference.
If your looking for something absolutely cheap, I would have to recommend DreamHost, although I%26#039;m really not happy with them, but you can%26#039;t beat them for the price that they offer.
I got 2 years of hosting for 100 dollars, which is a very good deal.

Most people in this question are probably going to refer you to horrible sites, but trust me on this one, downtown is an excellent host.
