GoDaddy is good for domain names, but ignore the sales pitch when they try to get you to sign up for hosting. Even their %26quot;free%26quot; hosting costs you (very intrusive advertisements).

Instead, once you%26#039;ve got the domain name, grab a free hosting account that has NO ads, point your domain name there, then use the FTP account feature to transfer your files from Dreamweaver.

And here are a few tips on picking out a good domain name (and finding one that isn%26#039;t taken already)...

Get your domain ordered. GoDaddy sets up really fast. You will need web hosting - so order that too. Once you get your hosting all set up, it%26#039;s just a matter of FTP%26#039;ing the files you created to your web host. You can use the Sites section in Dreamweaver to connect automatically to your new hosting account directly from Dreamweaver.
