Setting up PHP and MySQL on my website?

Well, setting up a MySQL database requires your website host to provide it in the first place. If you have a dot5 host. Go to their website and try to find out the features of the package you signed up for. If it does have MySQL support, you can start building it right away from the Control Panel like page your host offers you. First find out from where you can create a new MySQL database. After creating it, look for a tool called phpMyAdmin. This allows you to visually create the table for your database. After all this is done, you can proceed to learn php and mySQL scripting to get your job done. Here%26#039;s a good site to start learning:

It has mySQL tutorials also.

You could host your database on a different host too. Here%26#039;s one site that supports mySQL databases.
