Other Replys:Best way is to get links from other sites - you don%26#039;t say what your site does, but at a minimum you could link from blog%26#039;s, place links on social search sites (Digg, Searchles, RedIt etc). You could pay per click (Google, Yahoo etc). Also make sure your URL is simple and descriptive, keep the site regularly updated as crawlers will find this, plus look at meta tags.
Other Replys:To be realistic Rodney people doing searches will never find you unless there is something totally unique in your tags.
Look at the searches you do and look at the irrelevant sites that you get back. There are billions of websites.
You should promote your website another way.
Like the other answer above you can use link exchanges or just everyday advertising.

- Fresh Quality content
- Submitting your site to search engines
- Making sure that the code for your page is nice and clean and follow a correct semantic (using %26lt;h1%26gt; for titles etc..)
- Having third party sites linking to your site
