Problem with DNS when sending from yahoo mail?

Hello,

I do not know if I%26#039;m the only one to have experienced this but yahoo seems not to be getting the proper IP adress when looking up the MX entry of a domain.

I have changed the hosting of my website 6 months ago and when I send email from my mail.yahoo.ca the email email goes through my old hosting provider.

Here is a partial header of the email sent through the wrong MX entry.

Received: from web45504.mail.sp1.yahoo.com ([68.180.197.80])

by p31.ich-9.com with smtp (Exim 4.63)

(envelope-from %26lt;vinx2295@yahoo.ca%26gt;)

id 1ITEVA-0006L7-Ew

for vince@ptzioum.com; Thu, 06 Sep 2007 05:22:20 -0500

Received: (qmail 16292 invoked by uid 60001); 6 Sep 2007 10:22:18 -0000

Received: from [69.157.175.213] by web45504.mail.sp1.yahoo.com via HTTP; Thu, 06 Sep 2007 06:22:18 EDT

Date: Thu, 6 Sep 2007 06:22:18 -0400 (EDT)

From: Vinx Dem %26lt;vinx2295@yahoo.ca%26gt;

Subject: This is a test

To: vince@ptzioum.com

Here the domain ptzioum.com should be lookup as p1.24host-4.net [67.19.194.20] not p31.ich-9.com

Send Yahoo an email at cc-advoc@yahoo-inc.com

http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/

http://help.yahoo.com/fast/help/us/mail/

Problem with DNS when sending from yahoo mail?

Go 2 URL http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/or...

Give them an email address of yours that does work, that way they will have a way to correspond with you, just in case it is a problem with your Yahoo email account and not your computer...

Good Luck!
