Hello guys,
I really wish to have my own Forum but I am not a professional to do so. That%26#039;s why I decided to ask you for advices, recommendations and smart tips before I jump into it, please!
Five questions:
1. Which of the following you think is really easy to be maintained by non-professional, like me?

2. How much usually this job cost(...because I think I must pay to the coder for that)?
3. What is the min. PC configuration that I need?
4. Can I run it directly from my laptop(Acer Aspire 5100-5022)?
I have a domain name at GoDaddy.com, but I am not sure what hosting plan/package to choose in order to run the applications from above?
5. Are they(phpBB %26amp; vBulletin) comes as a standard options with any of those GoDaddy.com%26#039;s hosting plans? I know that the first one is free and the second is the best(+200$) but as a newbie what first do you recommend? Thank you so much for your patience! emilkostov / at / gmail / dot / com
What software do I need in order to start my own phpBB or let%26#039;s say vB forum?
I%26#039;ve installed vBulletin before and it was really easy. It%26#039;s simply a matter of copying the software up to your hosting server and then setting off the installation. It installs itself once you get it started. Regarding GoDaddy, you need to call them and ask them what they have that would support vBulletin or any of them. They need to be able to run Php for example and I believe they need to have mySql (or one of the databases) available. Again, ask them if they have it and which hosting plan you would need.
Once vBulletin is installed, maintaining and updating it is easy as well since it has its own administrative control panel. The only thing that can be difficult for a newbie is if you want to change the overall color scheme and look of it. Otherwise, you can put your own logo on there and leave the default look and design just as it is. It isn%26#039;t a bad looking design as it comes.
I hope this helps some.
Good luck!
