Host file problem hijack this?

hi every time i try to scan my pc with hijackthis errors pop out:

For some reason your system denied write access to the Hosts file. If any hijacked domains are in this file, HjackThis may NOT be able to fix this.

If this happens, you need to edit the file yourself. To do this, click Start, Run and type:

notepad %26quot;C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts%26quot;

and press Enter. Find the line(s) HijackThis reports and delete them. Save the file as %26quot;hosts.%26quot; (with quotes), and reboot.

I have no clue what to do i have access to my host files and there are 2. i didn%26#039;t delete anything becase i don%26#039;t want to delete anything i don;t know about plz help
