I am an idiot when it comes to websites. I currently have a site that my friend hosts. However, I want to buy my own domain name now so my site will be more professional. All I need is the name since the site is already being hosted. I found the name I want and I am ready to purchase it. Since my friend is hosting my site, all I need is the domain name, right? How do I redirect my current site to my new domain? Do I have to get new hosting? I don%26#039;t want to spend a lot of money each year, which is why I only want the domain name for $10/year.
