you need to ask your hosting provider about this. they may let you transfer the hosting plan to a different domain (you will have to buy the new domain), and you can set up domain forwarding so your old domain name automatically re-directs to your new one.
but this is all depending on if the people you buy hosting from let you transfer the hosting plans from one domain to the other. if they say no, i cant really help you there.

Call your hosting service or whoever you bought your domain through, they can change it, but you will have to rebuy it. You essentially will own 2 domains for a while.
